Ian Quinn :: Stunt Coordinator
Ian Quinn is an Emmy Nominated Stunt Coordinator and a SAG Awards Nominated Stuntman with almost two decades of experience in the film, television, video, and live performance arenas. Ian Quinn spends the better part of his time jumping off buildings, flying through windows, being set on fire, falling out of helicopters, hanging from harnesses, and sailing the high seas.
A native of Chicago, IL Ian is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a Navy Corpsman. While in the Navy between deployments, Ian found time to win third place in the “All Navy Sailing Championships”. Ian went on to teach sailing in Santa Barbara, CA and in 1996 was named the American Sailing Association “Instructor Of The Year”. Ian has done work as a commercial diver and is a PADI Certified Dive Instructor. The water seems to be a true comfort zone for Quinn as he is also a certified Swift Water Rescue Specialist.
While in the Navy, Ian was also trained in fire fighting and has volunteered as a fire fighter. This training and experience has helped immeasurably in his career as a Stunt Coordinator and Stuntman.
One of Quinn’s hallmarks of success is his solid reputation for safety and reliability. Ian has repeatedly demonstrated his enthusiasm and efficiency in all phases of stunt development and execution. When asked, ”What is the greatest stunt you have ever performed or coordinated?” Ian is quick to answer, “I haven’t done it yet.”
